When it comes to the 'Magical Girl' genre in anime, Sailor Moon by far has no competition. Getting into anime for me at least all started with this series! Although there were many magical girl stories to follow, there wasn't one that particularly reached me the same way Sailor Moon did. Although Cardcaptor Sakura is a magical girl I love <33, I didn't quite fit her into the same realm as magical -transformation- girl.

Sure there was Tokyo Mew Mew and Shugo Chara.. but those didn't really catch my interest. Even the first installment of Pretty Cure didn't tickle my fancy. I think it was their transformation costumes... They were kind of just.. 'eh' to me OTL I'll hold my tongue on the other installments of Pretty Cure because I haven't seen it.. but just judging on their transformation outfits... >_> I don't know.

BUT this Pretty Cure installment, Heartcatch Precure is definitely Magical transformation girl worthy! What really caught me was the -style- of the animation @_@ I love it so >///< It kind of reminds me of TTGL and FLCL... it's not exactly the same style.. but it really stands out from other anime I've seen. And the transformation outfits <33 Now those are cute! And they actually transform! Hair colour change and everything! Just the character designs (both good/bad characters) are awesome. I'm really digging it :3 And I find it hilarious too XD I've only seen a few episodes, but so far it's very fanart worthy X)

If all of that didn't convince you, at least check it out for Coupé-sama

If anyone knows any 'magical girl' series that are up there/worth checking out, please enlighten me! I'd love to check it out >_<
